Welcome to The 5th AASIC

The 5th AASIC aims to provide the answer of complexity problem from sharing knowledge and experience among Asia countries through integrated research from many talented researchers. The aim will bring many benefits to support any policy makers in Universities, Governments, Non-Governmental Organizations, and many practical researchers who concern to establish the solving challenging problems in Asia. The continuous program of AASIC can be utilized to expand networking among experts, professionals, practitioners and students in order to keep updated to the current issues of the multidisciplinary studies on health sciences, business, economics, education, art, social sciences, natural science, engineering, technology and agriculture. The committee believe that all submitted papers are important to spread the knowledge and spread the problem solving through many research’ experiences, afterwards, the committee will publish and share it into the proceeding conference book, CD of full-paper book, whilst selected papers will be linked to the International Journal with DOAJ and Google Scholar index, including to Scopus indexes.

AASIC was initiated by PERMITHA (Indonesian Student Association in Thailand) with the ultimate goal toprovide a channel to share experience and knowledge among students in ASEAN countries. The 1st AASIC was originally named Asean Academic Society International Conference and taken place in Prince of Songkhla University in Hat Yai whilst the 2nd AASIC was taken place in Kassertsat University.

The 3rd AASIC was then renamed into Asian Academic Society to expand its coverage. It was held in Chulalongkorn University in 2015, with the support of The Indonesian Embassy in Royal Kingdom of Thailand and Muslim Studies of Chulalongkorn University. With over a hundred participants, the conference highlighted the importance of integrated science, techonology and humanities for a sustainable development. In 2016, the 4th AASIC was held in Mahidol University, Salaya Campus, Phutthamonthon, Nakon Pathom, Thailand. As one of the green campus in Thailand, and also its role in Global Health Initiatives, Mahidol University Salaya.

In 2017, the 5th AASIC will be held in Khon Kaen University, Khon Kaen, Thailand. As one of the best universities as well as a research university in Thailand, and also the big university in “Isaan” (North-East of Thailand) region of Thailand, Khon Kaen University will serve as a perfect venue for the conference as the participants will be exposed to local wisdom of “Isaan” culture and green living around Khon Kaen University.

PERMITHA reserves the right at its sole discretion to postpone or change the venue,date and/or time of the conference without prior notice before early bird registration deadline.
